this past weekend was the annual jersey city artists' studio tour. it is a two day walking tour of artists' studios, group exhibitions, and art in public spaces - celebrating what i love in the city that i love. i got to enjoy the scene and meet some enthusiastic local artists, like habib ayat. i also got to reconnect with my past teacher and great artist, grigory gurevich.
the closing party was at parlay studios in jersey city. its a fantastic venue and had lots of art, performances, drink and food to keep the night going.
