i have been obsessed as of late with vintage jewelry, as inspired of course by my favorite show, mad men. im particularly in love with pieces that we don't use anymore today, but were very common in the 50s, and served very practical purpose.
one example is the sweater guard, as it was called, seen in the photo to the left from a mad men episode. it is simply a clip to hold a cardigan sweater over your shoulders. practical, and why not dress it up? i love it.

another great piece, is the dress cinch clip. i love this, and actually have need for something like this. if you want to make something more fitted in the waist, and want an alternative to using a belt, this is great. make the fit right, and glam it up!
