1 tbsp sesame oil
1 small onion, diced
1 lb ground chicken
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 inch stub of ginger, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 tsp sriracha (or more for spice)
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp tamari
1 tsp cornstarch
1 8oz can of water chestnuts, chopped
1 box mushrooms, diced
salt and pepper to taste
1 bunch scallions, thinly sliced
- sautee all the ingredients in a large skillet, adding each one by one in order or appearance above.
- serve mixture wrapped in cold iceberg lettuce leaves.
